FX move past coL for WCG bronze

Frag eXecutors have secured a third-place finish at WCG 2010 after a 2-1 victory over compLexity.

Victories on de_dust2 and de_train, sandwiched out by compLexity's win on de_nuke, were enough to give Frag eXecutors a 2-1 success in the 3rd/4th place decider and yet another WCG medal to their CV.

On de_dust2, coL found it very hard to break through Frag eXecutors' defence in the first half, as the Polish side picked up an impressive 10 rounds. Now on the offensive side, FX were far too hot to control and won the first six rounds to post a 16-5 result.

de_nuke then followed, and coL had showed the day before they were very strong on this map, and history repeated itself in Los Angeles. The Brazilian side upped their game for this map and went into interval leading 9-6. coL had showed some sloppy play against mTw on the offensive side, but this time around their pushes caused a lot more damange, and they eventually secured the seven rounds they needed, as the scoreboard showed 16-13 for them.

The final map, de_train, brought a much better Frag eXecutors, who put together a true wall in front of the Brazilians, whom they did not let win more than three rounds. With FX bagging the first three rounds in the second half, there was not much left to fight for, and coL's win in the fourth round did little or nothing, as FX picked up the next round to make it 16-4.
